I've made stuff all my life, ever since I was a little kid. It's just a natural part of me—if I don't do it I get upset. I'll become sad and stressed if I've been working too much and haven't had time to make collages or take photos in my spare time.

Advertising is awesome, but because there are clients and budgets and so many other people involved in the creative process, the final thing often isn't exactly how you wanted it to be. So many things get killed along the way, or you have to make compromises.

With my own stuff, I only have to please myself, and I don't have to change my vision in any way. It's just me and what I want to put out into the world. I think it's important for creatives who work in advertising to have a little world of their own, where they can show who they are outside of work, even though the two overlap most of the time.
